Came here on a Saturday afternoon with no booking. They were fully booked for wine tastings, however we got a bottle and sat outside in the valley. It was absolutely perfect. We stayed for three hours and enjoyed the sun, some nibbles and some of their wine selection.
Highly recommend coming here from 3pm as they have a great happy hour.
Gorgeous setting. 3 stars as the service wasn't that great TBH and it was exy. The prawns were fiddly and very mellow for a chilli dish, the mains were sensational though. Would recommend opting for a meal outside instead as the live music is a nice touch with the rolling hills and better energy.
Had lunch at Crooked River Winery on a Sunday. Would recommend making a reservation as it can get busy. We chose the lamb to share with 2 sides which were pumpkin and potatoes. Great portion for 2 people with a couple of wines. We could not fault our meal, and staff were very attentive. The outlook over the undulating green fields and vineyard was beautiful and peaceful. Would recommend to others and would definitely return for a lovely meal.
Very underwhelming meal. It was the Two Course $79 meal (plus Sunday surcharge making it around $87). Dessert was about $20 including the surcharge so my steak cost me $67. It was a tough piece of Robertson Free Range Beef. It was not tender at all. As there was very little else on the plate I was determined to get my money’s worth.
The $20 dollar dessert was no more satisfying. Generally I am willing to forgive a restaurant’s pretentiousness if the food is good but in this case not.
Good view, shame about the rest.
Amazing staff and an amazing chef.
We visited here today (12/01/24) & due to recent surgery, most of the menu was off limits to me. But the chef & staff went above & beyond to do something they didn't have to do & made my experience here a truly memorable one. Thank you dearly for taking the time to make just one persons experience, out of hundreds there, one to remember.
If you are looking for a getaway near Sydney this place is amazing. There are so many options in both red and white wines. Staff is super friendly and welcoming. We booked group tasting wines and our host gave us 6 different wines of our choosing to taste and explained about each wine. And the views on a sunny day are soo good. Will definitely recommend this place to visit.
Stopped here for a glass of wine and a platter for a light lunch. From the wine to the platter and our look from where we ate it was amazing. Lots of wine and food to try from. If you're up for a larger meal they have a great restaurant with some great variety of items on the menu.
A lovely winery with amazing rolling hill views. They have a nice selection of small bites and variety of wines. We were greeted and looked after by Zoe. She was extremely friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed our visit here despite the wet weather outside! Thanks for looking after us Zoe!
